The collection consists of two series: Personal Correspondence (Series I) and Other Papers (Series II). Personal Correspondence is further divided into four subseries: Incoming Correspondence from Hawaii (Subseries A), Incoming Correspondence from Internment Camps (Subseries B), Incoming Correspondence from Cherry Blossom Girl Reserves (Subseries C) and Incoming Correspondence from friends (Subseries D). Other Papers (Series II) are further divided into three subseries: graduation, wedding invitations, Christmas cards and Church brochures (Subseries A); newspaper clippings (Subseries B); and photos (Subseries C). Within subseries, items are arranged chronologically.
